A Letter from Our Founder
When I became a teen mother, the world told me my dreams were over. That I had made a mistake too big to recover from.
What they didn’t tell me was that I was still her. Still capable. Still worthy. Still powerful.
UpliftU was born from my own journey — from the nights I cried alone wondering if I would make it, and from the moment I realized I needed more than sympathy. I needed people who understood. Mentors who believed in me. Tools that actually worked.
This work is not about fixing you, because you are not broken. It is about revealing the strength that has always been there, even when life became complicated.
UpliftU exists to ensure no young mother has to navigate motherhood feeling ashamed, forgotten, or alone. This is a sisterhood rooted in support, accountability, and hope.

Who We Serve
UpliftU is dedicated to serving young mothers, typically between the ages of 13 and 19, throughout the Greater Atlanta area. We provide a bridge from the unique challenges of early parenthood to a future defined by stability and self-sufficiency.
Our community walks alongside these young women as they navigate motherhood while pursuing their education and personal growth, offering an inclusive and supportive environment where both mother and child can truly thrive.
